Debbie McCabe at Serving Up Style
Debbie McCabe, President of Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus, joins reporters at Serving Up Style. Serving Up Style is Molly's Fund's signature event which is held annually in conjunction with the Fall Home and Garden Show in Portland, Oregon. Top designers create fantastic, unusual dining experiences and compete for awards from well-respected figures in the design community.
Serving Up Style was created by Debbie to generate awareness of lupus and raise funds to fight this life-threatening disease. Her daughter, Molly, was diagnosed with lupus after years of suffering from prolonged and serious infections. After witnessing the devastation this disease can wreak and the frustrations of navigating the health care system, Debbie dedicated her time to helping lupus patients. Debbie and Molly launched a personal medical organizer called "Molly's Med Minder" at Serving Up Style in 2009 and Debbie discusses its benefits here.
